UCEA represents the interests of higher education employers throughout the UK. As an employers' association, our mission is to represent and promote those interests to all stakeholders including the Government.
From time to time the Government seeks views on policy proposals, such as changing existing employment legislation or introducing new legislation. The Government may also ask bodies such as the Migration Advisory Committee to conduct 'calls for evidence' to support it in developing proposals for legislation.
UCEA responds to consultations and calls for evidence on behalf of member HE institutions where the proposals might have an impact on their roles as employers.
