Education Support Partnership (ESP)
In addition to the resources previously listed, the ESP also provides other resources aimed at supporting education staff, including those working in HE:- A 24 hour helpline, which offers free telephone support and counselling to everyone working in education and available UK wide: www.educationsupport.org.uk/helping-you/telephone-support-counselling
- A grants programmes for educators who may be facing financial problems caused by unemployment, ill health, sudden life events, bereavement or a personal injury: www.educationsupport.org.uk/helping-you/apply-grant
- Coronavirus support: www.educationsupport.org.uk/coronavirus-support. These are mental health resources including short video guides for teachers, lecturers and support staff which cover topics which have been highlighted as particularly difficult.
The Behavioural Insights Team
The government’s Behavioural Insights Team (BIT) work with the NHS and PHE on health and wellbeing and use behavioural insights to improve policy and systems.
