The New Joint Negotiating Committee for Higher Education Staff (New JNCHES) is the central committee for multi-employer negotiations and dialogue on pay and pay-related issues.
In addition to the central negotiating committee, New JNCHES has a standing Pensions Discussion Forum and, from time to time, may agree to establish working groups.
In accordance with the 2007 Agreement, UCEA coordinated a review of New JNCHES with the HE trade unions from September 2012 to January 2013 resulting in minor changes.
