Introduction to the employment of clinical academics

This online event running from 10 am1 pm on Thursday 28 January introduces participants to the basics of employing clinical academic doctors and dentists in HEIs. It is aimed at medical and dental school HR professionals who wish to refresh their knowledge of issues surrounding the recruitment and employment of clinical academic doctors and dentists, and for those who would like an introduction to this area.

This event, led by Nicola Carter, Head of HR Advice at UCEA, with input from Helen Mortlock, Partner at Eversheds Sutherland will take participants through the key issues that HR colleagues involved in the employment lifecycle of clinical academics need to be fully aware of.
If you are new to this employment area, or would welcome a re-cap on key issues to use as an institutional ‘checklist’, this event will be relevant to you. There will be opportunities to ask questions and clarify issues throughout the event.

Attendance fee and how to book
