The presentation slots are as follows:

  • An update from Emelda Nicholroy, UCEA’s Head of Pensions Policy on recent and upcoming pensions work. 
  • Rebecca Dodd, Director at Mercer will present on the current and future pensions challenges for HEIs.
  • Sue Applegarth, Chief Executive and Rob Orr, Head of Technical & Communications at SAUL
  • Universities Superannuation Scheme will present a scheme update
  • Bob Holloway, Pension Secretary for Scheme Advisory Board, Local Government Association will present an update on the LGPS
  • Barry Bailie, Stakeholder Engagement Lead, and James Neve, Business Analyst at Teachers’ Pensions will present an update on the scheme

As the main event in the HE sector pensions calendar, this conference offers a great opportunity to meet pensions, HR, finance, reward and payroll colleagues and to discuss the latest issues affecting retirement provision across the sector.
