Getting the most from UCEA membership is designed for members who are new to the sector and those in new roles, as well as those interested to learn more about UCEA’s current programme of work and latest services.
The half-day session provides an overview of UCEA’s role and key areas of work including the range of activities and services we offer. Participants will have an opportunity to explore how our services can support your institution.
The event will be of particular interest to members with institutional oversight of staffing and HR, for example Pro-Vice-Chancellors with an HR portfolio, and senior colleagues in HR, finance, payroll and communications departments.
The areas covered will include the multi-employer pay negotiations, UCEA’s research and surveys on reward and workforce issues, pensions, HR policy advice, institutional support on organisational change, clinical academics, health and safety, and communications support.
There will be a networking lunch with UCEA officers which provides an opportunity for informal discussions.
